Suspect Arrested, Charged in Fatal Shooting at 4460 South MacGregor Way

Charges have been filed against a suspect arrested in the fatal shooting of a man at 4460 South MacGregor Way about 8:10 p.m. last Friday (July 11).
The suspect, Isaac Jasper Robinson, 22, is charged with murder in the 482nd State District Court. A booking photo of Robinson is attached to this news release.
The victim is identified as Tyler Martinez, 24.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeant J. Gardner and Detective M. Providence reported:
HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting at an apartment complex at the above address and found an unresponsive male in the parking lot. He had suffered multiple gunshot wounds. Paramedics pronounced the victim, identified as Mr. Martinez, deceased at the scene.
Investigators learned the suspect had returned to the scene and was detained by officers. Detectives consulted the Harris County District Attorney’s Office and the suspect, Robinson, was subsequently charged and booked into the Harris County jail.
