Investigation into Fatal Crash at 9200 Tidwell Road

Houston police are investigating the fatal crash in the 9200 block of Tidwell Road about 1:15 a.m. on Monday (Sept. 1).
The identity of the deceased male is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant Y. Ramirez and Officer V. Taylor reported:
A maroon Chevrolet C1500 pickup truck was traveling eastbound at the above address when the vehicle failed to maintain a single lane of traffic. The vehicle struck a concrete wall then veered across the roadway and came to a stop on its side. Paramedics pronounced the male driver deceased at the scene.
The investigation is ongoing.
