Suspect Arrested, Charged in Man’s Death at 600 East Tidwell Road

Houston police have arrested a suspect charged in the death of a male found at 600 East Tidwell about 8:30 a.m. on November 25.
The suspect, Carl Taylor, 44, is charged with murder and tampering with evidence in the 179th Criminal District Court. A booking photo of Taylor is attached to this news release.
The identity of the deceased male is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeants R. Watson and M. Burrows reported:
Houston Metro Police Department officers responded to a report of a male found unresponsive in a wheelchair at a bus stop at the above address. Responding Houston Fire Department paramedics pronounced the man deceased at the location. He had suffered multiple injuries.
Houston police officers responded and found evidence of the murder in a nearby apartment. Taylor, the resident of the apartment was then arrested and charged for his role in the man’s death.
