Investigation into Fatal Shooting at 8700 Blackhawk Ridge Lane

Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a male and wounding of another in the 8700 block of Blackhawk Ridge Lane about 3:55 p.m. on May 7.
The victim is identified as Jadiel Rodriguez, 16.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeant J. Nielsen and Detective A. Herrera reported:
HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting call at the above address and located a juvenile male with multiple gunshot wounds. Responding Houston Fire Department paramedics pronounced the male deceased at the scene.
Officers learned a second male also suffered gunshot wounds and was transported to an area hospital in critical condition.
