Investigation into Fatal Crash at 150 Southwest Freeway

Houston police are investigating a fatal crash at 150 Southwest Freeway (South U.S. Highway 59) about 1:05 a.m on June 16.
The identity of the deceased male is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant G. Garcia and Officer R. Young reported:
A blue Jeep Wrangler was traveling southbound on the ramp from South U.S. Highway 59 to State Highway 288 when the vehicle struck the right-side guardrail, causing the vehicle to overturn. Houston Fire Department paramedics pronounced the male driver deceased at the scene.
The investigation is ongoing.
