Investigation into Fatal Shooting at 6714 North Main Street 

Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 6714 North Main Street about 2:40 a.m. on Sunday (June 28).
The identity of the victim is pending notification to family members by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeant L. Kauffman and Detectives M. Cater, C. Bowling and J. Jorsch reported:
HPD patrol officers responded to a report of a shooting at the above address and found a male suffering from a gunshot wound in a parking lot. Houston Fire Department paramedics pronounced him deceased at the scene.
At this time there is no known motive or suspect(s).
