Investigation into Fatal Shooting at 6915 Boyce Street

Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man that occurred at 6915 Boyce Street about 5:20 a.m. today (July 16).
The identity of the deceased male, 64, is pending notification to family members by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Detectives J. Wallschlaeger and M. Althaus reported:
HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting call at the above address and located a male outside of his vehicle in the driveway suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Responding Houston Fire Department paramedics pronounced the man deceased.
Neighbors reported hearing a disturbance earlier in the morning in the driveway of the residence before hearing multiple gunshots.
At this time there is no known motive or suspect(s).
