Suspect Arrested, Charged in Fatal Shooting at 13958 Cottingham Street

Houston police have arrested a suspect charged in the fatal shooting of a man that occurred at 13958 Cottingham Street about 8:30 p.m. on Monday (June 16).
Julian Desselle, 18, is charged with manslaughter and tampering with evidence in the 497th State District Court. A booking photo of Desselle is attached to this news release.
The identity of the deceased male, 18, is pending notification to family members by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeants M. Burrow and R. Watson reported:
Officers responded to a report of a shooting at an apartment complex parking lot and found the victim suffering from a gunshot wound. Responding Houston Fire Department paramedics transported the victim to an area hospital where he was pronounced deceased.
Further investigation identified Desselle as a suspect in this case and he was arrested and charged today (June 17) and booked into the Harris County Jail without incident.
