Investigation into Fatal Crash at 5200 Willow Glen Drive

Houston police are investigating the fatal crash that occurred at 5200 Willow Glen Drive about 11:35 a.m. on Thursday (Nov. 27).
The deceased juvenile male is identified as Nicolas Castillon, 7.
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division E. Fendia and Officer L. Fenoglio reported:
The driver of a black Ford F450 pickup truck was traveling westbound on Willow Glen when he stated he stopped at a stop sign at the intersection at Herchel Wood Drive. Once the driver cleared the intersection he stated he heard something underneath his vehicle and stopped and found a small bicycle. The driver then found the child lying in the roadway and called for help. Responding Houston Fire Department paramedics pronounced the child deceased at the scene.
The driver of the Ford remained at the scene and did not show signs of intoxication He was questioned and released.
The investigation is ongoing.
