Investigation into Fatal Shooting at 3801 Hickock Lane

Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a male and wounding of a female at 3801 Hickock Lane about 10:40 p.m. on November 29.
The identity of the deceased victim is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
The female victim, 15, is expected to survive her injury.
HPD Homicide Division Detectives A. Vinogradov and D. Crowder reported:
HPD patrol officers were en route to a disturbance call when they heard multiple gunshots coming from the location of the reported disturbance. Officers arrived and located a male and female with gunshot wounds. Houston Fire Department paramedics transported both victims to an area hospital where doctors pronounced the male deceased.
Investigators learned there was a large party in the area and and a fight broke out between several females. During the fight, an unknown black male started shooting.
