Investigation into Fatal Shooting at 11300 Chatterton Drive

Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of an individual found in the 11300 block of Chatterton Drive about 1 p.m. on April 9.
The identity of the victim is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Detectives L. Lovelace and M. Althaus reported:
HPD patrol officers responded to a wooded area near the above address for a call about a body found. Officers located the unresponsive victim with a gunshot wound near a pond and responding Houston Fire Department paramedics pronounced them deceased at the scene.
At this time, there is no suspect(s) information.
