Investigation into Male’s Death at 323 South Cesar Chavez Boulevard

Houston police are awaiting autopsy results in the death of a male found at 323 South Cesar Chavez Boulevard about 8 a.m. on April 19.
The identity of the deceased male is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Detectives K. Persad and L. Yasin reported:
HPD patrol officers were flagged down about an unresponsive person at the above address. Officers found the male with injuries to his face. Houston Fire Department paramedics pronounced him deceased at the scene.
The investigation is pending the male’s cause of death, to be determined by an autopsy.
