Investigation into Fatal Crash at 11800 Westheimer Road 

Houston police are investigating the fatal crash that occurred at 11800 Westheimer Road about 1:45 a.m. today (May 1).
The identity of the deceased male is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant D. Griffiths and Officer C. Ballard reported:
A black Nissan Sentra was traveling westbound at the above address when the driver failed to control speed and struck a silver Toyota Camry. Responding Houston Fire Department paramedics pronounced the male driver of the Toyota deceased at the scene.
The male driver, 19, of the Nissan was transported to an area hospital.
