Investigation into Fatal Crash at 11800 Astoria Boulevard

Houston police are investigating the fatal crash that occurred at 11800 Astoria Boulevard about 9:30 p.m. on Wednesday (May 6).
The identity of the deceased male, 66, is pending notification to family members by the Harris County Instiute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant D. Griffiths and Officer C. Brothers reported:
The driver of a blue Ford Expedition was driving through a private parking lot at Southeast Memorial Hermann Hospital when it appears he suffered a medical emergency and lost control of the vehicle. The vehicle then struck a silver GMC Sierra, a black Chevrolet Equinox and a white GMC Sierra, all three vehicles were parked and unoccupied at the time of the crash.
The male driver was transported inside the hospital where he was pronounced deceased.
The investigation is continuing.
