UPDATE: Suspect Arrested, Charged in Fatal Shooting at 9100 Radio Road

Charges have been filed against a suspect arrested in the investigation into the fatal shooting of a male and female found in the 9100 block of Radio Road on February 28.
The suspect, Khiyea Kawaun Sanders, 31, is charged with tampering with physical evidence in the 185th Criminal District Court. Sanders’ booking photo is attached to this news release.
The victims are identified as Darrell Hall, 24, and India Thomas, 27.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeant M. Arrington and Detectives M. Castillo and M. Cater reported:
HPD patrol officers responded to a meet firefighter call at the above address and learned that a male was found in the middle of the roadway. He had suffered multiple gunshot wounds. A female with multiple gunshot wound was also located in a ditch next to the road. Houston Fire Department paramedics pronounced both victims deceased at the scene.
Further investigation identified Khiyea Kawaun Sanders as a suspect. On May 5, members of HPD Southeast Patrol Division’s Crime Suppression Team arrested him and he was subsequently charged.
The investigation is ongoing.
