Investigation into Fatal Crash at 10100 North Freeway

Houston police are investigating the fatal hit-and-run crash that occurred in the 10100 block of North Freeway (North Interstate Highway 45) about 1:05 a.m. on Sunday (July 12).
The identity of the deceased male is pending notification to family members by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant G. Garcia and Officer McLemore reported:
The male pedestrian was in the freeway near the above address when he was struck by a vehicle of unknown make or model. The driver of the vehicle did not stop to provide assistance and fled the scene. Responding Houston Fire Department paramedics pronounced the male deceased at the scene.
At this time there is no known vehicle or suspect description.
