Investigation into Fatal Crash at 7400 Katy Freeway

Houston police are investigating a fatal crash in the 7400 block of Katy Freeway (West Interstate Highway 10) service road about 3:05 a.m. today (July 16).
The identity of the deceased male is pending notification to family members by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant D. Griffiths and Officer R. Guzman reported:
A blue Kawasaki Ninja was traveling eastbound at the above address when the motorcycle left the roadway and its operator was ejected. Houston Fire Department pronounced the male deceased at the scene.
The investigation is ongoing.
