Investigation into Deceased Male at 4330 Bellfort Street

Houston police are awaiting autopsy results in the death of a man found at 4330 Bellfort Street about 10:25 a.m. today (August 20).
The identity of the deceased male is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeants M. Cass and R. Watson and Detectives K. Heaverlo and C. Flora reported:
Employees performing landscaping work in a large field behind a school at the above address discovered what they believed to be human remains. HPD officers responded and found what is believed to be an adult male in the southeast corner of a field on the eastside of 8700 Ferdinand Street.
The investigation is pending the cause of death, determined by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
