Investigation into Fatal Crash at 1200 Maxine Street

Houston police are investigating the fatal crash that occurred at 1200 Maxine Street about 3:40 a.m. on Sunday (April 12).
The identity of the deceased male, 46, is pending notification to family members by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant E. Alejandro and Officer J. Leon reported:
A silver Kia Sorrento was traveling northbound at a high rate of speed at the above address when the driver lost control. The vehicle left the roadway, went into a ditch and rolled over causing the driver to be ejected. Responding Houston Fire Department Paramedics pronounced the male deceased at the scene.
No other persons or vehicles were involved in this crash.
The investigation is continuing.
