Investigation into Fatal Crash at 6500 Wallisville Road

Houston police are investigating the fatal crash that occurred 6500 Wallisville Road about 9:55 p.m. on Saturday (April 11).
The identity of the deceased male, 29, is pending notification to family members by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant M. Barrow and Officer D. Thompson reported:
A red Cadillac CTS was traveling westbound at a high rate of speed at the above address when the driver collided with the trailer of a turning white Peterbilt 18-wheeler. The Cadillac went under the trailer, causing the roof of the car to come off, and then struck the rear of a second white Peterbilt 18-wheeler. Both 18-wheelers had exited a driveway turning westbound onto Wallisville road when the crash occurred.
The male driver of the Cadillac was pronounced deceased at the scene by responding Houston Fire Department paramedics.
Both male drivers of the 18-wheelers were not injured.
The investigation is continuing.
