Houston police have arrested a suspect charged in the death of a man found at 10515 Bellaire Boulevard about 12:05 p.m. on May 8.
Christopher Lee Bowden, 47, is charged with capital murder in the 182nd Criminal District Court. A booking photo of Bowden is attached to this news release.
The victim is identified as Chun Chen, 54.
HPD Homicide Division Detectives L. Lovelace and M. Althaus reported:
A co-worker could not reach the victim and went to the business at the above address to check on him. The co-worker entered the business and found the victim unresponsive on the floor. HPD officers and Houston Fire Department paramedics responded to the scene and the male was pronounced deceased. He had suffered apparent blunt force trauma.
Further investigation identified the suspect as Bowden and, on May 13th, he was arrested by Westside Patrol Division Crime Suppression Team Officers. He was booked into the Harris County Jail.
