Investigation into Fatal Shooting at 11511 Bandlon Drive

The fatal shooting of a male at 11511 Bandlon Drive about 1:10 p.m. on June 12 will be referred to a Harris County Grand Jury.
The identity of the deceased male is pending notification to family members by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeant M. Brady and Detectives W. Elliott and D. Hobson reported:
HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting call at the above address and located a male in a ditch who had suffered at least one gunshot wound. Houston Fire Department paramedics pronounced him deceased at the scene.
Officers located the shooter and another individual who stated there was a physical fight with the male prior to the shooting. Both the shooter and other individual at the scene provided statements and cooperated with investigators.
After consulting with the Harris County District Attorney’s Office, it was determined the shooting would be referred to a Harris County Grand Jury.
