Investigation into Fatal Crash at 8300 Cullen Boulevard 

Houston police are investigating the fatal auto-pedestrian crash that occurred at 8300 Cullen Boulevard about 1 a.m. on Sunday (July 19).
The identity of the deceased female is pending notification to family members by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant K. Bui, Officer R. Young and Southeast Patrol Division Officers reported:
The female pedestrian was in a moving lane of traffic at the above address when she was struck by a vehicle of unknown make or model. The driver of the vehicle did not stop to provide assistance and fled the scene. A gray Jeep Grand Cherokee also struck the female.
Responding Houston Fire Department paramedics transported the female to an area hospital where she was pronounced deceased.
The driver of the Jeep remained at the scene, did not show signs of impairment and was questioned and released.
