Investigation into Fatal Fire Incident at 6701 Weaver Road 

Houston police are awaiting autopsy result in the death of a woman found after a fire at 6701 Weaver Road about 2:50 a.m. today (July 20).
The identity of the deceased female, 81, is pending notification to family members by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeant K. Meek reported:
The Houston Fire Department responded to a house fire at the above address and found a body inside a bedroom of the residence. The female was pronounced deceased.
Further investigation determined no electricity or running water was connected to the house and the female was using candles for lighting.
Preliminary investigation indicates there is no signs of foul play or trauma. The investigation is pending the cause of death.
The Houston Fire Department Arson Division is investigating the cause of the fire.
