Investigation into Fatal Crash at 6200 Bingle Road

Houston police are investigating a fatal crash in the 6200 block of Bingle Road about 7:50 a.m. today (August 21).
The identity of the deceased male, 46, is pending notification to family members by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeants L. Ross and K. Bui and Officer M. Matthews reported:
A black Honda CRV was traveling southbound at the above address and crashed into the back of a red Nissan Altima. The Honda then struck two other vehicles, a red Hyundai Tuscon and gray Subaru Outback. The Honda continued off the road, strruck two trees and a building, then caught fire.
Houston Fire Department paramedics transported the driver of the Honda to a hospital. Doctors later pronounced him deceased. It is believed the male suffered a medical episode prior to the crash.
The female driver of the Hyundai was transported to an area hospital in stable condition.
