Suspect Charged, Wanted in Fatal Stabbing at 13301 Cullen Boulevard
Charges have been filed against a suspect wanted in the fatal stabbing of a man at 13301 Cullen Boulevard about 2:45 a.m. on Sunday (April 7).
The suspect, Sean R. Smith, 52, is charged with murder in the 209th State District Court. A photo of Smith, who is not in custody, is attached to this news release.
The identity of the victim, 68, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Detectives J. Brown and M. Cass reported:
HPD patrol officers responded to a stabbing call and learned the victim was stabbed multiple times in the parking lot of a gas station at the above address. Houston Fire Department paramedics transported him to an area hospital where doctors pronounced him deceased.
Witnesses and evidence from the scene identified Smith as the suspect. He fled the scene in a red pick-up truck.
