House Fire in The Westbury Area

WHAT: House fire.
WHEN: January 16, 2024, at 3:45 a.m.
WHERE: 11900 block of Renwick Dr. 77035.
INJURIES: No reported injuries.
PROPERTY SAVED: $165,000 in estimated property saved.
DAMAGE:$60,000 in estimated damage.
CAUSE: Unintentional.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene within six minutes to find light coming from the attic of a house. They accessed the attic and conducted a primary search. The utilities were secured, and the fire was extinguished. The fire appeared to have started due to an electrical issue with a light in the attic and then spread. 36 personnel responded to this fire including crews from Stations 48, 2, 59 and 82.
