Suspect Arrested, Charged in Fatal Shooting at 12800 Market Street

Houston police have arrested a suspect charged in the fatal shooting of a man that was found at 12800 Market Street about 12:05 a.m. on Friday (June 19).
Andre Tronte Green, 28, is charged with murder in the 182nd Criminal District Court. A booking photo of Green is attached to this news release.
The identity of the deceased male is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeant K. Meek and Detective M. Perez reported:
Officers responded to a report of a shooting and found a male victim lying in the street at the above address calling for help. Responding Houston Fire Department paramedics transported the male to an area hospital where he was later pronounced deceased.
Further investigation identified Green as a suspect in this case. On Saturday (June 20), Green was arrested and confessed to his role in the fatal shooting. He was booked into the Harris County Jail.
