Investigation into Fatal Shooting at 12405 North Gessner Road

Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a male found at 12405 North Gessner Road about 10:30 a.m. on August 18.
The identity of the victim is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Sergeant M. Cass reported:
HPD patrol officers responded to a body found in a ditch at the above address. The body was in a state of decomposition. An examination of the body revealed two gunshot wounds.
At this time there is no known suspect(s).
