Investigation into Fatal Crash at 6900 Memorial Drive

Houston police are investigating the fatal crash that occurred at 6900 Memorial Drive about 12:55 a.m. on Sunday (August 16).
The identity of the deceased male, 21, is pending notification to family members by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant A. Yasin and Officer J. Rincon reported:
The operator of a white Kawasaki Ninja motorcycle was traveling eastbound on Memorial Drive at a high rate of speed when he lost control of the vehicle and struck a curb. The operator was then ejected from the motorcycle and landed in a grassy area south of the roadway. Responding Houston Fire Department paramedics pronounced him deceased at the scene.
No other persons or vehicles were involved in this crash.
The investigation is continuing.
