Investigation into Fatal Crash at 1600 Dorsett Street 

Houston police are investigating the fatal crash that occurred at 1600 Dorsett Street about 3:30 a.m. on Sunday (July 26).
The identity of the deceased male, 21, is pending notification to family members by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant R. Dallas and Officer T. Johnson reported:
A white Chevrolet Corvette was traveling northbound near the above address when the driver crossed the centerline and struck a parked white Mack 18-wheeler. The impact caused the vehicle to catch fire.
Houston Fire Department paramedics pronounced the driver deceased at the scene.
The investigation is continuing.
