Person of Interest Sought in Fatal Shooting at 13200 Fondren Road

Houston police need the public’s help in identifying a person of interest wanted for questioning in the fatal shooting of a man at 13200 Fondren Road about 5::40 p.m. on July 25.
A photo of the person of interest, who is not charged, is attached to this news release.
The victim is identified as Amond Morrison, 51.
HPD Homicide Division DetectiveS A. Beiza and I. Barrett reported:
HPD patrol officers responded to a suspicious person call at a bus stop at the above address and found a man with a gunshot wound. Houston Fire Department paramedics transported the male, later identified as Mr. Morrison, to an area hospital where was pronounced deceased.
Detectives learned the victim and another male were involved in a verbal altercation at the bus stop that led to the shooting. The suspect fled on foot.
Further investigation identified an unknown male, pictured below, as a person of interest.
